• 老師按主題為提供幼兒多元化書籍，培養幼兒的閱讀興趣。
• 舉辦閱讀及繪本講座及有關工作坊，推動親子共讀。
• 透過上下學期的「親子伴讀計劃」，增進幼兒的閱讀興趣和提升理解能力。
• 本園教師以高班繪本用書《姓鄧的樹》參加由香港教育大學幼兒教育學系主辦第一屆「繪本教學活動創作比賽」，經專業評審 團評定為「優秀作品」。
• 舉辦【校園故事爸媽】活動，讓家長走進課室分享優秀繪本。
Curriculum Feature: Picture Book-Based Pedagogy and Reading Promotion
We adopt picture books as our primary teaching and learning resources, providing young children with ample opportunities to engage in reading.
- Curating Diversified Reading Resources: Teachers curate a wide variety of theme-based books tailored to children’s learning topics, cultivating their early reading interests.
- Empowering Parents through Seminars: We organize professional reading and picture book seminars, alongside practical workshops, to dynamically promote parent-child shared reading.
- Fostering Literacy through Home-School Collaboration: Through the “Parent-Child Reading Program” implemented across both semesters, we enrich children’s reading enjoyment and elevate their comprehension skills.
- Award-Winning Pedagogical Excellence: Utilizing our Upper Kindergarten (K3) picture book “The Tree Named Tang” (《姓鄧的樹》), our teaching team participated in the 1st “Picture Book Teaching Activity Creation Competition” hosted by the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Hong Kong Education University. The curriculum design was highly commended by the professional judging panel and honored as an “Outstanding Work” (優秀作品).
- Engaging the Community with “Campus Storybook Parents”: We launch the “Campus Storybook Parents” initiative, warmly inviting parents into classrooms to share exceptional picture books and inspire a love for storytelling.
